KYMAC SUPPORTS THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

1,000 Turkey Giveaway

Burning Barrel, in partnership with former UofL and NFL player Chris Redman, handed out 1,000 turkeys to the Louisville community on Saturday, November 19. Anyone who showed up to the event was eligible to receive a free frozen turkey just in time for Thanksgiving. We’d like to thank The Central Beer Depot, a Burning Barrel location, for hosting this amazing event.

250 Turkey Donation

Burning Barrel donated 250 turkeys to the East Kentucky Dream Center so they could cook Thanksgiving meals for the community on November 18. As a result of the donation, the center was able to serve 1,436 people a hot meal, including the homeless, veterans, and those at senior shelters!

FOP D.A.R.T. Truck Unveiling

Earlier this month, Burning Barrel, the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), and former University of Kentucky and NFL player, Tim Couch, teamed up to unveil a new state-of-the-art Disaster Area Response Team (D.A.R.T.) Truck. The truck was unveiled at a press conference at The Cue Club in Lexington, owned by one of our amazing location owners and operators, Wes Jackson. The new truck, trailer, and equipment will enable meal preparation for first responders assisting in areas affected by natural disasters.

Appalachian Regional HealthCare

We all know how devastating the recent flooding has been in eastern Kentucky. Burning Barrel wants to help those who are still struggling. We gave a $5,000 donation to Appalachian Regional HealthCare for all they are doing. Pictured is Hollie Phillips, president and CEO of ARHC, and Gina Reinhardt from Pace-O-Matic.
